It seems like every other day there are new companies starting up offering us incredible savings on our phone bills by switching to Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone services using our existing broadband internet connection.

With so many offerings to choose from, many people may be overwhelmed with all the choices, and not know where to start in looking for a reliable VoIP service provider.

A great new site was brought to my attention that helps take the guess work out of choosing a VoIP telephone provider. VoIP Advisor reviews, and even does sid-by-side comparisons of, several of the top-rated VoIP telephone services available.

They are very thorough for their reviews, but are perhaps a little bit biased towards the service provided by voip.com -- but for good reason -- VoIP.com is an excellent service! The only thing stopping me from using voip.com, is the fact that they do not have Montreal local numbers (yet ...VoIP.com if you're listening ...)

VoIP Advisor also outlines the pros and cons of choosing to switch to VoIP telephone services, in case you are new to internet telephone, so you can decide if switching to VoIP telephone may be right for you.

The site is very easy to navigate, and uses language that the every day Joe will be able to understand and follow.
