A wireless Skype Cell Phone without WiFi from EQO

A new Canadian startup company called EQO (pronounced Echo) has a revolutionary program that allows you to turn your regular cell phone into a Skype cell phone. This is an excellent idea and if proven successful could bring wireless Skype cell phone capability to anywhere you can normally use your cell phone.

Unlike normal VoIP cell phones you do not need to be in a WiFi hot spot (wireless internet). Normally VoIP calls are restricted to WiFi areas so this wireless Skype product is great as it overcomes this problem.

It works by converting your regular cell phone into a Skype cell phone. The service is run by installing EQO software on your PC and your cell phone. Only certain cell phone models are currently available. You can check if you current cell phone can be converted to a wireless Skype cell phone by clicking here. If your phone is not available you can sign up with your email to receive an alert when it does come available.

When you have the software installed on both your PC and cell phone which is not a very complicated process your cell phone is ready to become a wireless Skype device. You need to keep your PC on at all times and remain logged into Skype.

Features of your new Skype cell phone include:
- Receiving phone calls through Skype In.
- Making Calls through Skype Out.
- Calling and receiving calls from Skype buddies
- Internet messaging your Skype buddies

All these Skype services available on your wireless Skype cell phone may incur charges from Skype or your cell phone provider. EQO do not charge you for the software or to make the calls.
