Free Landline VoIP CallsWednesday, April 26, 2006 We recently came across another VoIP startup company. The company is called VoIP Discount and works in a very similar way to Skype. The great thing about this company is they offer free landline calls to a number of destinations including the United States, UK and Australia. Unlike the free landline calls we reported on last week the VoIP Discount software is quick to download, easy to install and works just as simply as Skype. We tested it out here at Hot VoIP News and it works fine. However there is one catch, the calls only last a minute unless you buy credit. Once you have bought credit you need to use it within 120 days or it will be lost. The landline VoIP calls will still be free for 120 days and you could use the credit on other paid calls. Credit is bought at a minimum of ten Euros. So rather then free landline VoIP calls you get 120 days of free landline calls for 10 Euros. This is not a bad deal in itself although the way VoIP Discount present this information through small print could be considered misleading. Powered by dBLOGGER |
