Skype Meets Trillian With Skyllian

For those of you who are not familiar with the software Trillian it allows you to integrate a variety of online chat programs into one. If you have accounts with MSN, Yahoo Messenger, AIM, ICQ and even use IRC then Trillian is an excellent solution to having all of them in one single program managed through one simple interface. It really makes life easier for those people who communicate online.

One of the drawbacks of Trillian was that it did not include Skype. You could use inferior VoIP service such as talking through ICQ but there was no Skype. However there is now a new Skype plugin called Skyllian which allows you to now use Skype with VoIP functionality within Trillian.

For people who use both Trillian and Skype they can now just use Trillian with the Skyllian plugin making life that little bit easier. Skyllian is an unofficial plugin and we would hope to see Skype worked into the full Trillian package at some point, but for now this is a great solution.
