Nintendo Wii Controller with VoIP functionality The new Nintendo Wii games console is expected to be released at the end of this year. With competition in the games console market always high it is no wonder that Nintendo are also working on integrating VoIP into their gaming console to keep up with Microsoft and Sony.
The VoIP functionality will be built into the Wii controller. It will store a phone book and address book and will allow gamers to communicate online while they play games without the need for a headset. The VoIP Wii Controller will have a microphone and speaker built into the headset which will allow it to be also used as a regular VoIP phone. There is even speculation that the Wii Controller could even be used to make video calls. |
